About

After nearly 20 years of work at UCLA as Coordinator at the Learning Disabilities Program, I left to focus solely on my private practice. In addition to my private work, I serve as a consultant to a local university, where I evaluate documentation and determine appropriate and reasonable academic accommodations. Over my career, I have helped a multitude of students — with different abilities and backgrounds — develop helpful strategies and use available resources and tools to allow them to reach their potential and build their confidence.

My Work

I assess for AD/HD, executive functioning issues, learning disorders, processing speed concerns, memory challenges, and anxiety. My goal is for the student and parents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the student's cognitive and academic abilities. I have worked with numerous private and public schools in Los Angeles and surrounding areas and have been successful in helping students secure the accommodations they need both in school and on standardized/admissions tests. Following testing, I will produce a comprehensive report — to review with the student, parents, and professionals — that includes the results of my assessments and recommendations on what the student can do to maximize his or her potential, both in and out of the classroom.
